MixDraft

Client feedback for mix engineers

Turn client notes into a clean, engineer-ready revision list.

MixDraft helps engineers collect better feedback, faster. Clients review in a secure portal, leave comments at exact timestamps, and approved notes are sent to the studio in a format your team can actually execute.

No account friction

Clients open magic links and review instantly. No signup flow to block feedback.

Approval before handoff

Admins decide which comments are sent to engineering, reducing noise and contradictions.

AI-guided clarity

On Hobby and Pro, vague client notes get a short coaching flow so feedback is actionable before it hits your list.

Track version progress

Know what is waiting on clients vs waiting on studio, with clear status across revisions.

Terms of Service

Effective date: March 7, 2026

Welcome to MixDraft. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the MixDraft platform, including our website, applications, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Accounts & Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. Each account is associated with a studio workspace. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

2. Subscription & Billing

MixDraft offers a free Basic tier and paid subscription plans (Hobby and Pro) billed monthly through Stripe. You authorize us to charge your payment method on file at the start of each billing cycle. Storage limits are enforced per your active tier; streaming is unlimited. Downgrading or canceling your plan does not entitle you to a refund for the current billing period. If you cancel a paid plan, your studio continues on the free Basic tier.

3. Free Tier

The Basic tier is free with 4 GB of storage and does not expire. No credit card is required. If you cancel a paid plan, your studio continues on the free Basic tier and your data is retained.

4. Content Ownership

You retain full ownership of all audio files, project data, and other content you upload to MixDraft (“Your Content”). By uploading content, you grant MixDraft a limited license to store, process, and transmit Your Content solely to provide the Service to you and your designated clients. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over Your Content.

5. Client Review Access

You may invite clients to review tracks via magic links. You are responsible for managing who has access to your projects. Magic links expire according to your configured settings. MixDraft is not responsible for content shared with unauthorized parties through links you distribute.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: (a) upload content that infringes on third-party intellectual property rights; (b) use the Service for any unlawful purpose; (c) attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or our infrastructure; (d) resell or redistribute the Service without permission; or (e) circumvent storage limits through technical means.

7. Third-Party Integrations

MixDraft integrates with third-party services including Google Drive and Stripe. Your use of these integrations is subject to the respective third party’s terms of service. MixDraft is not responsible for the availability or functionality of third-party services.

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform scheduled maintenance with reasonable notice. We are not liable for any downtime, data loss, or service interruptions beyond our reasonable control.

9. Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your content and associated data will be permanently deleted. We recommend exporting any files you need before cancelling.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MixDraft’s total liability for any claims arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost revenue or data.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notification at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Privacy Policy

Effective date: March 7, 2026

MixDraft (“we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices regarding your data.

1. Information We Collect

Account information: Name, email address, studio name, and password hash when you register. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile photo from Google.

Billing information: Payment details are collected and processed by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer ID and subscription status but never store full card numbers on our servers.

Content: Audio files, project metadata, client information, comments, and review notes you create within the Service.

Usage data: Storage consumption, IP addresses, browser type, and general usage patterns to operate and improve the Service.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: (a) provide and maintain the Service; (b) process payments and manage subscriptions; (c) send transactional emails such as magic link invitations and review notifications; (d) enforce usage limits per your subscription plan; (e) improve the Service and fix issues; and (f) comply with legal obligations.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may process your data:
Cloudflare R2 — object storage for audio files.
Stripe — payment processing and subscription management.
Google — OAuth authentication and optional Google Drive integration.
Each provider operates under their own privacy policy and data processing agreements.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on servers in the United States. Audio files are stored in Cloudflare R2 with server-side encryption. We use HTTPS for all data in transit. Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel. While we implement industry-standard safeguards, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data and content for as long as your account is active. After account termination, your data is permanently deleted. Billing records may be retained longer as required by law.

6. Client Data

When clients access projects via magic links, we collect their session data and any comments or review notes they submit. Client review sessions are temporary and expire based on studio settings. We do not require clients to create accounts.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party tracking or advertising cookies.

8. Your Rights

You may: (a) access and download your data at any time through the Service; (b) correct inaccurate information in your account settings; (c) delete your account by contacting support; and (d) request a copy of all personal data we hold about you.
